Martyrs of Japan: FRARE CRUCIFICAT

Drawing by Miquel Parets in his chronicle for remembering the martyrdom of 26 Catholic monks (23 Franciscans and 3 Jesuits) crucified in Nagasaki (Japan) on 5th February 1597 during the reign of Hideyoshi Toiotomi.
